The OG vegan energy balls I’ve been making for 9 years 😍

These are my go-to snack for a reason; packed with fibre, natural sweetness, plant protein, and healthy fats

Recipe:

  • 1cup dates (pitted)
  • ½ cup oats
  • 1 scoop plant-based protein powder (I Love vivo life clean protein the vanilla one)
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (optional, to help it stick)

METHOD

  1. Blitz everything in a food processor until a dough forms 
  2. Remove the blade and roll the mixture into balls (using clean hands)
  3. Melt some dark chocolate in a double boiler and drizzle over the energy bites, sprinkle over some flaky sea salt and edible flowers before the chocolate sets!
