Hello there!

Hi, I’m Gina! If we flashback to the small fussy child who only ate “clean” rice (plain boiled and no cross contamination with ANYONEs messy spoons) and chicken nuggets, growing up to a career in nutrition may not seem like the obvious leap.

Everything changed for me when I watched one YouTube video at 17 that outlined the benefits of a plant based diet. A young girl listing out the benefits she had seen in just a year of changing her diet. It made complete sense to me, healthier hair, healthier nails, eating in abundance without worrying about calories?  It seemed like the most logical way to eat.

But I was about to begin a biochemistry degree at university so I wasn’t going to blindly follow. I put my new technical knowledge to work, reading and learning everything I could about nutrition in my spare time, focusing any personal projects on nutrition where I could all while using my new uni halls kitchen to figure out how to cook delicious healthy plant based food.

I gradually taught myself to eat so many new foods, I had never had such a diverse diet and I was understanding more and more how our western diet was failing us.

By the time I got to my masters in biochem cancer research I was becoming frustrated with that no one was focusing on prevention, how we could maybe avoid these diseases in the first place with just the food that we ate! That seemed so much more impactful and incredibly important to me.

I went on to do my postgraduate diploma and practice diploma in personalised nutrition so that I could put everything I had learnt myself and at university in to practice, working with real people to prevent disease.

I show women they can eat in abundance, nourish their body for the future and still exist in a light lean body that they love! I teach my clients how to manage gut symptoms with diet and how to pay attention to their cravings, and their habits so they can really take charge of their life and their health.

I want you to make the best decisions for you with the best available evidence so you can feel really deeply naturally nourished!

My Qualifications

I’m a qualified registered nutritional therapist (mBANT). This means I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

My aim is to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to tackle their health goals, from helping improve gut health, boosting energy or achieving a healthy weight without restriction or crash dieting.

Food mindset:

There’s a lot of conflicting information out there about health and diet. I want to help you achieve the health you deserve without fad diets, guilt & shame.

Everyone should feel empowered to take control of their diet and understand how food works within their bodies to enable them to be limitless in what they can do and achieve in life.

I have a particular passion for longevity. I believe (and know) that achieving your aesthetic goals dos not mean compromising long term health. That means weight loss that focuses on fibre as well as protein, on keeping cholesterol low and insulin sensitivity high!

If cholesterol, blood sugar or staying healthy as you age is something you’re particularly interested in, I’d love to support you on your journey!

If you would like one-to-one help with your own health and nutrition goals, or have any further questions please drop me an email NaturallyGinaNutriton@gmail.com. I’d love to work with you!
