Recipe notes: 

Chocolate orange oats, perfect for a cold morning when you want something sweet and comforting! 

The coconut sugar can be subbed for any sugar I just prefer it as its a little less sweet and has a slight caramel taste.

  • 60g oats 
  • 1 apple 
  • 1 orange 
  • 170 ml almond milk 
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar 
  • 1 tsp cacao powder 


  1. Grate the apple or chop into small chunks. 
  2. Mix in the oats, cacao, sugar, the zest and juice of 1/2 the orange – ensure thoroughly mixed 
  3. Stir in the almond milk and microwave for 2.5 minutes (alternatively cook over the stove until desired consistency).
  4. Squeeze the rest of the orange over and top with extra orange zest, and other toppings you desire! I used chocolate granola, choc shot and a slice of orange. 
  5. Enjoy!
