Recipe notes:
Chocolate orange oats, perfect for a cold morning when you want something sweet and comforting!
The coconut sugar can be subbed for any sugar I just prefer it as its a little less sweet and has a slight caramel taste.

Ingredients:
- 60g oats
- 1 apple
- 1 orange
- 170 ml almond milk
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp cacao powder
Method:
- Grate the apple or chop into small chunks.
- Mix in the oats, cacao, sugar, the zest and juice of 1/2 the orange – ensure thoroughly mixed
- Stir in the almond milk and microwave for 2.5 minutes (alternatively cook over the stove until desired consistency).
- Squeeze the rest of the orange over and top with extra orange zest, and other toppings you desire! I used chocolate granola, choc shot and a slice of orange.
